Sandra Ollsin
Certified Funeral Celebrant
Sandra Ollsin was born in Victoria, British Columbia. After college she worked in both the provincial government and the private sector. Her professional background includes public speaking, teaching, counselling, writing, large-event planning and management. She continues her long-time study of process-oriented psychology and spirituality. All of these skills and experiences enhance Sandras role as Celebrant.
Sandra volunteers at Victoria Hospice, has received Advanced Spiritual Care training there and is regularly asked to help in the training of new volunteers. She is a member of both the Victoria Hospice Society and the British Columbia Hospice Palliative Care Association.
She was trained and certified as a Funeral Celebrant in 2002, by Mr. Doug Manning, a highly-respected leader of the Celebrant movement in North America.
Sandra currently works as a Certified Funeral Celebrant, helping people create, design and facilitate personalized end-of-life rituals and ceremonies. These include funerals, memorials, celebration of life tributes as well as graveside and interment gatherings.
Her personal interests include gardening, reading, and celebrating life as much as possible. Shes happily married with three children and two grandchildren.
